Stream of Sensation
Hong Kong Stream of Consciousness (HKSC) marks its 5th anniversary with Stream of Sensation, a group exhibition presented by Chun Gallery at the Fringe Club. Around thirty new works by five artists are on view, accompanied by the movement’s official art manifesto.
HIYA Vice Presidents Chun Fan and Cheung Man Ling, and President Chantelle Huang, are among the participating artists, together with HIYA member Zhou Dong Ming and cross-disciplinary artist Paul Wong. The exhibition treats painting as a direct projection of inner consciousness rather than a copy of the visible world—and holds that a work only continues to live through the viewer’s recognition and resonance.
In an era of increasing commercialisation and technological reproduction, this exhibition invites us to look beyond labels, to experience art through intuition, and to discover a moment of profound connection between the artwork and ourselves.
Opening Ceremony
Chun Gallery has generously sponsored a dedicated exhibition space for the Hong Kong International Young Artists Society (HIYA), establishing a Special Exhibition Area for Member Artists to provide HIYA members with a platform to showcase their works and engage in artistic exchange.
